The Old School provides the local community with a venue to meet for educational, social and entertainment purposes. A variety of local groups hire rooms in the School. This income allows the Trust to maintain the building to a good standard. It also funds maintenance of the School’s garden, which is an attractive asset to the New Romney townscape.

The School is also open to the public on a regular basis throughout the year, when the Trust’s local history collection of documents, photographs, artifacts and other media may be viewed and studied.
