charity’s work has made to

benefits to society as a

Para 1.20 For much of the period the Old School

due
to
government
lockdown restrictions.
From February 2021 the Old School has
been used as a Covid Vaccination Centre.
(This role has continued to date, Dec 2021.
Around 30,00 vaccinations have been
dispensed, most of the recipients being local
people.
With the easing of restrictions our local
groups

organisation
re-started
in
September 2021, on “non-vaccination days”

Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The charity is in a very good financial
position at the end of the period. This is
due to receipt of government grants of
£21,300.85 relating to enforced closure of
the Old School due to Covid.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 The charity does not hold formal reserves
for specific purposes. However, we do
aim to keep sufficient funds available to
continue maintaining the building and
garden for up to 18 months without
income. We also keep the state of the
building under review and plan ahead for
items like boiler replacement and roof
repairs / maintenance.
Amount of reservesheld Para 1.22 £0
Reasons for holding zero
reserves
Para 1.22 See above
Details of fund materially in
deficit
Para 1.24 None
Explanation of any
uncertainties about the
charity continuing as a going
concern
Para 1.23 Covid is still a major concern and closure
would reduce our primary income to zero.
However, to date this has been countered
by government support and use of the
Old School as a Vaccination Centre.
