Greenbank Community Association Trustees report March 2023/ February 2024
I am pleased to report another successful year for our organisation. Play scheme.
The play scheme this year was a huge success. The kids voted it the best ever. This was thanks to our Funders without whose help the play scheme would not be possible and the volunteers who work so hard. A massive Thank you to you all. The Half term play scheme was also enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. The Disco was enjoyed by everyone. Although some of the adults found it a bit noisy. That maybe a sign of age
Our thanks go to the following people who financial support made our play scheme possible. Francis C Scott, Cumberland Building Society the National Whitehaven Town Council and last but definitely not least Sellafield Snowball Fund. Thank you so much without your help we would not have a play scheme, and it is one of the highlights of our year.
Lunch club
The lunch club is still providing good food at a very cheap price. The lasses work extremely hard, and the results are delicious. It is quite well supported although we can always make room for more people. We would once again like to thank Sellafield Snowball fund for providing the funding for our new cooker.
.
Family fun
The kids still have a fun time Mondays and Fridays. We take this opportunity to show our appreciation to everyone who works so hard and give up their time for the kids and to the kids who come every week rain or shine. Thank you, Sellafield, Snowball Fund for funding our arts and crafts materials.
Bingo
Our thanks go to all those people who support our monthly prize bingo. You all do us proud and help to keep the centre open.
Also, thanks to Linda and Pat who shop for the excellent prizes. Jenna, Jenifer Dot and Ann our trusty helpers. Its Bingo that is our bread and butter helps to pay the bills. So, THANK YOU everyone who supports or helps.
We are please that this year has been so successful and look forward to this our 21[st] with this committee. This committee has worked so hard and made this community centre what it is today. So, congratulations to all of you.
