## **Structure Governance and Management**

The Declaration of Trust was made on 26[th] June 1995, and is registered with the Charity Commission under charity number 1049807. The body of trustees shall consist when complete of four ex-officio trustees. The exofficio trustees shall be

## **Objectives and Activities**

The Charity’s objectives, as set out in its Trust Deed, are to further the education (including social and physical training) of children attending the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School. The school has specialist status in the creative arts. The drama studio incorporates facilities for physical education as well as an art room, both of which are used to enhance our creative curriculum.

## **Achievements and Performance**

This year has been packed full of exciting and fun events. Pupils have taken part in a wide range of activities during our themed weeks including book week, science week and community week. During sports week pupils took part in a wide range of sports including Zumba, curling and wheelchair basketball and have had many achievements along the way.

Pupils have benefited in their leaning through trips out locally including to do work experience at Horsham station where our pupils have continued to have their art displayed. Trips further afield have enhanced their learning including yachting, Chessington World of Adventures, Lodge Hill, soft play, Harry Potter World and a day in London to see Wicked.

We have had visitors into school including WonderDome, Animazing, theatre performances, our artist in residence and of course our very popular donkeys.

Our pupils have also taken part in a Horsham Dance Festival and the Shakespeare for Schools Festival. They have also taken part in the Horsham Children’s Parade and attended a community cricket day. At all of these, our pupils have been a credit to our school and strong advocates for the values we live by.

In the summer we hugely benefited from winning a bid by Santander and Splash Project to enhance our playground. With a huge number of volunteers and a team of experts they built a stage, outdoor learning room, swing surround, bike shed and a large timber canopy across the back of our key stage two classrooms. The pupils have benefitted enormously from all of these additions.

## **Financial Review**

We have raised £165,390.31 this year and have spent £277.20 on our Just Giving subscription and bank fees. We have received a large donation from a grandparent of an ex pupil to purchase a minibus and build an outdoor building for students. We have also received a number of other donations from specific grant applications. Donations received for specific items will be spent in the next financial year.
