FINANCIAL REVIEW
Quallty Assuranc•
11 has been good to see the Quality Assurance plans pul into r4ace during the year and all praclltioner8 were
Involved in assessing and rnoniloring the targets sel during loekdown as well as golng forward wth the new
pathway for September 2021. We We￿ awarded the Bristol Standard agaln In July 20218nd we are very p￿ud of
the cornments we received..
The validation panel fell that congralulatlons are in order on maintaining your good praclc8 during the Covid 19
pandemic. We really liked seelng your families being involved in a variety of ways and how you give Child￿n'S
voio such a strong importance in your setting. You manage lo involve all parents and work collaboralivety with
every family. We fell that you have an aulhentlc commitment lo ensuring inclusive practyce, Throughout your
submission w8 were slnJ¢k by your reflective approach lo sofving problems and keeping the child al the h8art of all
you do. We realty nobced that your play and learning experiences had breadth and depth. We can feel that your
setting is an essential part of your community and can seè childrèn have rich l&aming experiences with you. We
look forward lo hearing more at>Jul yoijr'walking lo School, intlative in your next submission.,
Partnar8hlp Worklng
Th8 Pr&S¢hool have continued their excellent partnership ￿th the cornmunity, the Church. local schools, and
outside agencies. Whilst much of our meetings with outside agencies were carried out vla zoomlmicrosoft team we
were able lo maintain a semblance of nomiality.
This year we We￿ ab￿ lo offer Iransib'on sessions lo Primary School Reception teathers - inviting them into the
setting. The chikjren were unable to go into their new schools, so we yet again used the school's websites lo
deliver information and share a story with the reception teachers.
We did however wn a very successful transitron prcbjram for our p18ygroup childron attending OLtr nurs8ry das8 in
September 2021. We ran 4 morning sessions SO that the children had a great lime meeting their new groups and
key person.
ThÈ Chureh mombors and thé p￿-s¢h0o1 have been working together lo look al Ihe future of both organisations in
using the Church buildings. The Church have asked that we no longer use the Church area from September 2022
so we are in the process of looking al how best we ean utilise the other rooms and outside area lo ensure we
maintain the regislrats'on numbers needed lo offer the community a sustainable Pre-school. It wifl be a challenging
year in 2021- 2022 but we are hoping the outcomes will be a positive new thapler for the Pre￿ChOOl.
