Activities
The society exists to help local children and their families face the disadvantages of deafness or hearing impairment. It acts as a focal point to exchange information on the services that are provided by Government and privately funded agencies and makes disbursements to families and schools to help them with the expense of special equipment and other educational items.
Objects: To Offer Advice, Support And Counselling To The Parents Of Hearing Impaired Children. To Provide Specialist Equipment, To Raise Public Awareness Of Needs Of Hearing Impaired Children. To Arrange Outings And Holidays, Activities For Said Children And Families. To Pass On Information Relating To Said Children. To Take Full And Active Part In Fund-Raising Activities To Achieve The Above.
