In particular, the annual beer festival, which had been held in the Town Hall for many years, was replaced with a more prominent Town Festival, held in the marketplace. This event was much more visible, more accessible and facilitated a much wider range of entertainment. Summary of the main achievements of the charity. identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. Para 1.20 Feedback received from the public demonstrate that much enjoyment was created amongst all ages of the local population. In addition, the events In the year generated some surplus resources which enabled the charity to make a range of donations in the period to community organisations, sports clubs, educatlonal facilities and indlviduals. The beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude and re-iterated that the funds provided enable their activities to reach a greater user base, or provided support to individuals without the means or ability to obtain other such support.
