Activities
Anti-Slavery International works to eliminate all forms of slavery throughout the world by investigating and exposing current cases of slavery, campaigning for its eradication, supporting the initiatives of local organisations to secure the freedom of those in slavery or vulnerable to it, and pressing for more effective implementation of national and international laws against slavery.
Objects: The Elimination Of Slavery,the Slave Trade And All Forms Of Unlawful Forced Labour And Unlawful Deprivation Of Freedom As From Time To Time Mentioned In The Slavery Convention Of 1926,the Supplementary Convention On The Abolition Of Slavery,the Slave Trade And Institutions And Practices Similar To Slavery Of 1956 And Any Other International Treaties Conventions Or Convenants Prepared And Executed Or Signed Under The Auspices Of The United Nations;and The Advancement Of Public Education Concerning The Rights Of Indigenous Peoples;and The Advancement Of Public Education Concerning Human Rights As Set Forth In The United Nations Universal Declaration Of Human Rights Of 1948 And Concerning Human Rights Abuse.
