**positively contributed to our work,**

**Although we are a small charity, we aim**
**to ensure there are no barriers to**

**circumstances, it may be possible for**
**our Trustees to approve a contribution**
**towards certain expenses incurred in**
**the course of volunteering, such as**
**travelling (at the mileage rate of 45p per**
**mile) or reasonable subsistence.**
**Each case is judged on its merits, needs**
**to be approved in advance and must be**
**supported by receipts and a signed**
**declaration (so that we can provide**
**have been properly appropriated).**
**However, due to the generosity of our**
**amazing volunteers, no claims were**

**2022. Post March 2022, the monies have**
**been used to pay for all the physical**
**donations received to be transported**

**refugee centre, an industrial generator**
**to power vital services in Ukraine and**
**other various items to support the**
**Ukrainian people.**
**The charity hosts the annual January**
**Jaunt and March Hare races, which**
**helps to encourage a healthier**
**community by providing a platform to**

## **Financial Review**

Para 1.21 Despite the constraints of lockdowns
financial position at the end and the global pandemic, the Trustees
of the period
reserves increased during this period by
£21,446 from £9,390 to £30,836 which
are held in the charity bank accounts.
Income was secured from the
generosity of donations and from those
fundraising and events that could be
safely undertaken within the prevailing
restrictions.
The main expenditures were on
donations to other local charities and
individual or families with special
circumstances.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 The charity continues to hold reserves,
policy for holding reserves in line with their governing document, to
stating why they are held donate to the local community of
Plymouth.
In the short term, we aim to distribute all
the restricted monies raised in respect
of the Ukrainian fund to the Ukrainian

basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of Ihe
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
I'the Act")
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515)Ibl of the Act.
