**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF EVELYN WARD AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS PARTICULARLY AMONGST THOSE PERSONS AFFECTED BY ADDICTION TO DRUGS OF ANY KIND, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.

**Activities:** The Evelyn 190 Centre is committed to enabling participation of the whole community in the management and activities of the Centre.  Also, will seek to implement a programme of positive action to make this policy fully effective.
