**Objects:** THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY IN EACH CASE ONLY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FOR:(1) THE PROMOTION OF RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF DISABILITY, HOWEVER CAUSED, OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, AND THEIR INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY;(2) THE MAINTENANCE AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF DISABLED PEOPLE.

**Activities:** DI provides support to people with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries, enabling them to develop their abilities and to increase their participation, involvement and independence. DI works to build a person's confidence and self-esteem and develops strategies to prevent further disability or deterioration. This is achieved through a range services delivered from its centre in Surrey.
