REFOCUS WORKS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFITS BY ADDRESSING THE NEEDS MAINLY OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC ORIGIN IN AND AROUND READING, BERKSHIRE WHO ARE EITHER INVOLVED IN CRIME OR AT RISK OF BECOMING SO. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, LIFE-SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELLING, COACHING, IN-SCHOOL PROJECTS AND HOLIDAY PROVISIONS.

Objects: 1) To Relieve Poverty, Sickness And Distress Amongst Offenders, Ex-Offenders And Young People At Risk Of Offending, And The Partners And Dependants Of Those Groups, In Particular, But Without Limit To The Foregoing, Those From Minority Ethnic Groups (the Beneficiaries)2) To Promote Opportunities For Beneficiaries To Gain Access To Education, Training, Employment And Self Employment3) To Promote The Provision Of Counselling, Advice And Guidance To Beneficiaries
