Objectives and Activities
The trustees confirm that they have referred to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity’s aims and objectives.
The charity’s purposes are to advance the education of the pupils in the school.
Main activities undertaken during the year to further these purposes:
The PTA has supported the school by organising a range of fundraising and community events throughout the year. These have included events such as school fairs, raffles, sweet sales and other activities involving pupils, parents and staff.
Funds raised have been used to provide additional resources and equipment to enhance the educational experience of the pupils. This has included contributions towards classroom resources, extracurricular activities, educational trips, and improvements to school facilities.
The PTA has also worked to strengthen the relationship between the school, parents and the wider community, helping to create a supportive environment that benefits pupils’ education and wellbeing.
Achievements and Performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year:
Project Theatre which involves taking all children in Years 4, 5 and 6 to the Theatre which is fully paid for by the PTA. At the same time, we offer a full farm visit to Children in KS1 and Year 3 which again, is fully funded by the PTA.
Each school year receives a donation of £150 per academic year towards a school trip.

Reserves Policy:
An amount of £5000 is kept by the charity as reserve funds.
