TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS INCLUDING THE ARTS OF PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND DECORATION TOGETHER WITH ANY ASSOCIATED CRAFTS BY THE PROVISION OF PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TRAINING COURSES IN SUCH SUBJECTS.

**Activities:** The Trust work to see the restoration of Sherborne House and the maintainance of public access for the people of the town, the region and the world; to encourage interpretation and new understanding of the site the Trust supports contemporary art activity based on the heritage of Sherborne House and on other Dorset and rural contexts.
