The Financial position of SLSC remains very positive for the financial year. We closed the period with cash in our current account of £29,903.05. Despite this being a COVID affected year our membership income remained strong. We also received a significant donation from the Principality Stadium of £2,500, which was used to fund patrol kit. We also received £1,900 from the sale of our Old IRB. The balance of other income being from Grants and events.
We invested in significant amounts of kit with over £25k being spent on kit which was predominantly the new IRBs, racing mals from Haze surfcraft and patrol kit. This was funded by grants we received prior to the financial year commencing. Our other significant expenditure related to Pool fees and Insurance.
At the time of our AGM our cash balance remains positive with the current account having over £19k in it.
