2025 Annual Report
(Period August 1[st] 2024 – July 31[st] 2025)
The last year has been another successful and fulfilling year for the FoYH. We have continued with last years changes to the structure to enable a more streamlined operation and run a number of successful events. Several funding requests have also been approved for the benefit of the pupils.
Our aims, as a registered charity and representatives of the YHS family body, are to successfully bring our school community together, raise funds to provide a range of equipment to enhance our children’s experience at York House and encourage an inclusive and supportive network within the school.

-
Ice Lolly Sales
Through these events we were able to fund the following projects:
-
New sound & lighting equipment for the Archdale Hall
-
Outdoor equipment including table tennis tables and games tables
-
Eco team equipment
-
Outdoor shelters
-
Christmas trees & decorations
-
Pantomime for all pupils
We all enjoyed the Fireworks Night and the 2025 Spring Ball was a great excuse to get dressed up and dance the night away. The quiz night was an excellent event for parents, guardians and teachers alike and the hamper raffle raised a considerable sum of money. The children of course, love the Lolly Sales and these are always a nice end to the week to bring out school community together.
On behalf of the FoYH I would like to thank everyone who has supported the events over the last year, whether it be as a volunteer or attending and taking part. A very special thank you also goes to School Office, Jason and the site team who support the FoYH continuously.
I’m looking forward to an exciting year ahead where our focus will be on running more events to bring the school community together, creating memories and raising funds to enhance our children’s experience at York House.
