The Friends of Wyndham House Surgery is a Non-lncorpordted Association
regulated by Constitution dated 28 NovemtKr 2018.
The Trustees are eIected at cach Annual Genernl Meeting. The Tnths hold at least
four meetings in each calendar year. Decisions are detern]iDed by the majority of
Trustees present at any meeling who are entitled to vote and a quonlln is five
members of the con]mittee.
All Trustees give their time freely and no remunerdtion to them was made in the year.
Also Trustees are required to disclose any confiicts of interest and to withdrdw from
any decisions where such a confiict may arise.
The Cl)arity qualifies as a Financial Institution under International Common
Rew)rting Stsndards, but makes DO payments to recipients who are tax resident in
CRS reportable jurisdictions.
The Charity is a grant giving organisation with no employees. and there w¢r¢ 71
memlxrs with voting rights at the year end.

Income for the twelve months w&$ £34J60 (£3J,002) and expenditure was £20,1¥(£27,843) giving
an excess of income over expenditure of £14236 (£3, 159).
Our generous donations included £1,040 (£2.680) that qualifies as Gift Aid and a further £5255
(£6,520) for the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme.
The value of the Investment Portfolio was £549,590 (£554,132). The income from this Provides us
with a significant part of our revenue whilst this capitsl. along with our CCLA deposit fund, acts as a
contingency reserve in the years in which expenditure exceeds incom¢. All our funds ar¢
Silverton Link Up patient transport scheme and "Bertie" prescription delivery service continue to run
very successfully along with Balance Classes. Over 65's Keep FIL Baby Weigb and Stay group and a
regular menopause group which meet every 2 months. The Tai Chi classes adapted to include
Qigong and we also initiated a seated yoga for the less abIe. The Silverton Memory Café continues
its good work and we were happy to assist with grants to CA)ver their venue rental. The Wellbeing
Co-ordinator has been very busy at keeping in touch by telephone and with home visits and the Film
Club continues to be a success with the additional benefit of improving social intmctions. The
Digital Social Prescribing projecl aiding people unfamiliar with modffli technology* also continued
to give help and advice. We introduced last year grdnt aid for limited introductory grants for newly
diwosed patients to have early access to introductory rehab cycling sessions with Freetrike of
Silverton, which provides supervised cycling for dAsabled p￿p]e on purpose made cycles. Their
major groups of clients are Strokes, ParkiDson"s Dise&8e, Multiple Sclerosis Dem¢nti4 Alzheimerfs,
Head Injury and Cancer. No one has yet to tske up the offer.
We are gratefid for th¢ r¢Lript of £754.69 from Transport For Your Community, and £1,500.00 from
Rewe Bingo Club directly towards our Link Up service. As always. we are grateful for the generous
gifts from all our donors.
The Intss endeavour to regu]arly obtain feedback from beneficiaries of the Friends activities. Yet
again there was no negative feedback in the current year.
We are grntefid to all our trustees and other participants at committee meetings for their support and
to record our thanks to the many volunteers and suppliers who give assistance to au these projects for

Direct to Patricia Jones, who is married to this charity's Treasurer (in post until 9 October 2024), for
expenses involved to support the role of Wellbeing Co-ordinator for the Wyndham House Surgery in
this ar￿ and &s agreed and regularly reviewed by all trustees and in line with our policy on
"Conflicts of Interest" Detailed expense claims, which covered a dedicated mobile telephone, trdvel
expenses and ancillary expenses were submitted quarterly and were signed off by the chair of the
Friends or other authorised trustee but never by the Treasurer.

The charity has initiated a policy reflecting the Code of Fundraising Prnctice as issued by the Fundraising
Regulator, but owing to the small amount of active fundraising tsking plac¢ (under £1,000), as opposed to
unsolicited donations received, the committee voted not to r¢gister with the Fund Raising Regulator, but to
use its guid¢lines.
Complaints Policy
The ch8rity has an individual trustee who is tasked lo consider any complaints. Th¢s¢ should be reported
either direct to a trustee or at Surgery reception,
Conflicts of Interest
Trustees declare any conflicts and take no part in discussions or voting unless invited to provide infonnation.
A register is kept of any potential conflicts of interest.
Data Protection Policy
The charity is committed to processing dats in accordance with its responsibilities under the UK
General Data Prot¢ction Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The trustees are
also committed to ensuring that personal data is held with integrity and appropriate confidentiality.

I report on the accounts of the Trust for the year ended 31 March 2025, which are set out on
pages 5 to 6 with notes on page 3.

The charity's trustees are r¢sp)nsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's
trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the
Charities Act 2011 (the 201 l Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act.
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by th¢ Charlty
Commission under section145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and
to state whether particular matters have Come to my attention.
Basts of independent examlner's report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the
Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanatiOILS
from you &8 trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audit and cons¢quently no opinion is given &8 to
wh¢thcr th¢ accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the rep)rt is limited to those rnatters
set out in the statement below.
