Bedale High School- School Fund 

## **Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31[st] March 2025** 

The Bedale High School Fund is registered with the Charity commissioners (Registered No. 1047879) and its address is: 

Bedale High School Fitzalan Road Bedale North Yorkshire DL8 2EQ 

Representatives of Bedale High School Governing Body, acting in their capacity as trustees for the fund, reviewed and adopted the Annual Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31[st] March 2025 on behalf of the trustees. The accounts were audited by Mr M Fletcher. 

The trustees of the account during the period and up to the date of this report are:

- Mrs K Loughlin (Resigned 29[th] May 2025) 

- Mr S Rayner 

- Mrs J Reed 

- Mr C Stokes 

- Mr J Nalder (Resigned 31[st] Oct 25) 

- Mr T Taylor 

The object of the fund is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority. 

During the year the main activities of the fund were: 

- Various Educational Trips 

- Student Provisions 

- Fundraising 

- Duke of Edinburgh 

Income for the year was £36440 (23-24: £85318) of which 72% related to monies collected to pay for educational trips. Charity fundraising by Bedale High School pupils amounted to £548.

At the end of the year, the school fund held cash amounting to £37,987, of which £26107 was committed for various ad hoc activities. 

In relation to the balance of funds, £5000 is kept in a current account with the remaining funds held in a deposit account with Nat West. 

The auditor’s fee is paid by the fund whilst the administration of the fund is met from the general school budget. 

The school fund has no restricted funds.
