Bedale High School – School Fund ## Trustees Annual Report for the Year ended 31[st] March 2023 The Bedale High School Fund is registered with the Charity Commissioners (Registered No. 1047879). Its address is: Bedale High School, Fitalan Road Bedale North Yorkshire DL8 2EQ Bedale High School Governing Body, acting in its capacity as trustees for the fund considered and adopted the Annual Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2023 at its meeting on 24[th] January 2024. The accounts were audited by Mr M Fletcher. The trustees of the account during the period and up to the date of this report are: - Mr A Childe - Mrs N Hunter - Mr G Horan ( resigned 21-07-23) - Mrs C Inchley( resigned 18-01-23) - Mr S Ingram - Mr T Kelly - Mrs L Legard - Mrs K Loughlin ##  Mr R McGuinness (resigned 17-10-23) - Mr S Rayner - Mrs J Reed - Ms K Whitehouse The object of the fund is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority. During the year the main activities of the fund were: - Various Educational Trips - Student Provisions - Fundraising Income for the year was £39418 (21-22: £25790) of which 39% related to monies collected to pay for educational trips. Charity fundraising by Bedale High School pupils amounted to £735. At the end of the year, the school fund held cash amounting to £39154, of which £29055 was committed for various ad hoc activities. In relation to the balance of funds, £5000 is kept in a current account with the remaining funds held in a deposit account with the Nat West Bank. The auditor’s fee is paid by the fund whilst the administration of the fund is met from the general school budget. The school fund has no restricted funds.
