## Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner 

The trustees of the charity are responsible for the preparation of accounts. They consider that the audit requirement under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 does not apply. I have been appointed under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 and report in accordance with the regulations made under section 145(5)(b) of that Act. It is my responsibility to examine the account and statement, without performing an audit, and to report to the trustees. 

## Basis of Examiner's Statement 

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts 

## Examiner's Statement 

Based on my examination, no matter has come to my attention that gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, accounting records have not been kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act 2011, or that the accounts presented do not accord with those records or comply with the accounting requirements of that Act. No matter has come to my attention in connection with my examination to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## Notes to the Receipts and Payments Statement : 

## For the year ended 31 March 2025 

## Note 1. 

## Results 

The results are shown in the attached accounts. There were no restricted funds this financial year. 

## Note 2. 

## Freehold Property 

The freehold property situated at 25/27 Stowell Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne Tiltle No.ND5949 is included in the accounts at the transfer value of £50,000 ( Fifty Thousand pounds) on 25 July 1983. The property has not been revalued since that date. 

## Note 3 

25/27 Stowell street premises required efficient heating system. 

The upgrade costs was £13800 which included decommissioning of the old system and replacing with upgraded room sealed boiler system. The costs which was funded by donations included removal of the old system, disposal, installation and testing of new system.

## Trustees 

The trustees did not receive any remuneration and no reimbursement of expenses There are in total, currently 6 trustees apponted by the Charity

## Legal and Taxation Status 

The Association is set up under a constitution. It is a registered charity and has no taxable income
