Rotary Club of Tettenhall Trust Fund Trustee's Report th For the year ended 30 June 2024 The Trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 30th June 2024. The Trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparingtheir accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and republic of Ireland IFRS 102). Charltable Objectives The Rotary Club of Tettenhall raises funds to support deserving causes locally, nationally and internationally. Revlaw of actlvltles and achlevements The Trust (Charity) Fund continues to receive funds byway of donations, collections and fund-raising activities including occasional donations. In the Rotary Year 2023-2024 a significant fund of monies was collected frorn a variety of fund-raising activities, these included, but are not Limited to, the annual Christmas sleigh that visits Local housing estates, supermarket collections and public events such as 'the turning on of the lights, in Wolverhampton City Centre, Bantock Park and TettenhallviLlage which are well received by local people and raises the profile of Rotary locally. A'golf day'was organised at South Staffordshire Golf Club and significant proceeds supported a girls, home in India and humanitarian supplies to Ukraine.. A range of new opportunities were explored in the year which diversified the donations from attending the WoLverhampton Racecourse. Street collections prior to home fixture of WoLverhampton Wanderers, the Pride celebrations and international Darts competition at 8 Local sports centre. Funds collected during the year were £43,592 and more than 35 local charities benefited from donations for their causes which cover welfare. food banks, MS centre, Ukraine society, educational dictionaries for schools, hearing dogs for the deaf. Compton Care and Acorns hospices and a variety of community based projects within the city. A'Lend with Care, enterprise continues to distribute micro-finance to communities and entrepreneurs all over the developingworld where a small injection of cash has a significant positive effect directly in the communities. Reports of the impact of these investments is availabLe to all members through the website. These monies are repaid on very low rates and the monies reinvested to new organisations. The Fund was established under a Trust Deed dated 20 June 1995 and is registered as Charity Number 1047376. Its address for correspondence is The Oak House, Oaklands Court, Lower Rudge, Pattingham, Wolverhampton, WV6 7EB.

The Rotary Club of Tettenhall have the power by resolution to nominate or remove the Trustees. A Trustee must be a member of the Club.
Trustees’ responsibility for the accounts
Charity Law requires the Trustees of the Fund to prepare a receipts and Payments Account and Statement of Assets and Liabilities for each financial year. In addition, the Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which are sufficient to show and explain the Charity’s transactions and to disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Fund. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence taking all reasonable steps for prevention and detection of fraud and irregularities.

Review of activities and achievements
The Trust (Charity) Fund continues to receive funds by way of donations, collections and fund-raising activities including occasional donations.
In the Rotary Year 2023-2024 a significant fund of monies was collected from a variety of fund-raising activities, these included, but are not limited to, the annual Christmas sleigh that visits local housing estates, supermarket collections and public events such as ‘the turning on of the lights’ in Wolverhampton City Centre, Bantock Park and Tettenhall village which are well received by local people and raises the profile of Rotary locally. For the year ended 30 June 2024
I report on the Financial Statements of the Fund for the year ended 30[th] June 2024, which are set out on pages 6 to 9.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Fund, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act).
I report in respect of my examination of the Fund’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent Examiner’s Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
-
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
