Our services to London's Voluntary and Community Sector involves the promotion of any charitable purpose for the benefit of the London area. This includes the following: the advancement of education and learning; the relief of those in need; the protection of physical and mental health and wellbeing; building the capacity and sustainability of charitable organisations.

Objects: The Charity Is Established For The Promotion Of Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of The Community In The Area Of Benefit And In Particular But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing: - 1. The Advancement Of Education And Learning, In Particular, But Not By Way Of Limitation, For Those Who Are Unemployed Or Otherwise Socially Or Economically Disadvantaged, By The Provision Of Training, Re-Training, Opportunities For Volunteering And/or Work Experience So As To Equip Them With The Skills Needed To Find Employment Or To Improve Their Quality Of Life And So That They May Participate More Fully In Society. 2. The Relief Of Those In Need, By Reason Of Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage And To Prevent Those Who Are Socially Or Financially Disadvantaged From Becoming Isolated Or Socially Excluded. 3. The Protection Of Physical And Mental Health And Well-Being. 4. Promoting, Organising And Facilitating Cooperation And Partnership Working Between Charitable, Voluntary And Community Organisations And Statutory And Other Relevant Bodies Within The Area Of Benefit, To Include Encouraging And Supporting Individuals To Volunteer, Providing Opportunities For Volunteering And Supporting Organisations Providing Such Opportunities. 5. To Build The Capacity Of Charitable Voluntary And Community Organisations Operating Within The Area Of Benefit And Providing Them With The Necessary Support, Information And Services To Enable Them To Pursue Or Contribute To Any Charitable Purpose. 'Area Of Benefit' Should Be Defined In The Articles As Meaning The London Borough Of Lambeth And Other Neighbouring London Boroughs.
