Financial stability is vitsl if the Fede￿Ion is to look forward with ￿nfidence to
becoming even more effective in attaini￿ its clwitsble objectives. The continuoj
fllwicial support from its tnember5 is crucial to the Federation io achieving this aim.
RESERVES
The Federation's unrestricted fimds on 30th SeMemb¢r 2023 were £77.1)(K). comprising
generdl funiL £49,187, and d&signated flln￿ £27.813. TheTe are two designa*d funds.
One 15 d&signed to set &sid¢ funds for the ¢ompldion of the last five proposed books in
the curr¢nl EFPP Book Series. The other is a biennial award given to authors of papers
or Ethks in the field of psychoanalytic psychotherapy that deal with a research issue or
are the product of concrete re5¢arth in th¢ psychoanal￿1¢ psychotherapeutic field.
Restricled fimds totalling £1.913 are held to be Spent on an EFPP monograph book and
on creating an electronic database for research literattwe. Nothing was eX￿￿llded on

Given the lack of voluntary tncome, the Intsiees believe that it is w¢ntia] thgt the
financial reserves be maintsincd at a level exceeding£50.OOQto protectthe Federation'5
ability to continue its work and to implement its plans. The steps taken over the last
