Emmanuel Church AyStham is registered with the Charity Commission Number 1046629.
Constitution
A Trust Deed made on 141h Fetsw 1995 is d￿ent ￿ Emmanud Church
Aylsham.
The church was formed as a result of the amalgarnation of the congregation
Baptist Chapel. White Hart Stree( Aylsham.
The congregatK)n now meets regularly at Cawston Road Chapel and are the trththfYJ Trustees
of the 1995 Trust Deed. based upon the Fairbaim Trust m(Klel, for this prowty.
The present Church Leadership is shown in section 2.5. the extemal advisers of the Charity
are shown in section 2.6.
Structure and Management
The Church is a charitable trust estat4ished by the Trust Deed dated 14th February 1995.
Members of the Church LeadeTrhip as shyNn in section 2.5, with the exception of the
Minister(s), are appointed by rnaj￿ty vote taken at a meets'ng of the Church in General
Meeting in accordance with the Trust Deed. Tfv are app)inted by the Church Membership
annually at the AGM but may resign at any ts'me, or may be removed from office by a two-
thirds majorty vote at a meeting of the Church in General Meeting.
Elders share with ts Mwn&erfs) in the uveram Spffrtual oversight of trE Church and in
particular in the roles of pastoral care. teaching and discipleship. Together with the Minister{s)
they oversee and coordinate the vision and ministy of the church.

3.2 Achlevements and Perforniance
lft February 2023, refufbishment I￿1￿jIng vffjrf( was completed and the fdlffikn'p was able
to return to worship in the chapel on 12 March. The buiSdirvJ which is fully inclusive with a full
dIsa￿l changirrfJ facility, VRS also made a4ailatk for commuThty use and was wdl received
being used most days.
The Church expressed its part in the life of the wider church by making grants lo national and
internakn'onal Christian organisations and societies with Christian aims and objectives
compatible with the Church's rmn chantable purrx)se. This has included SUPFrfXt. financially
and through prayer for the Bible S￿iety, Leprosy Mission, Songs of Hope and Freedom,
Barnabas Fund and Trans World Radio.
Church meets every Sunday for worstmp and teachiro of the Christian Faith. as VAI as
other midweek Bible Study and Prayer fime. The meets'ngs of the Church are open to all in
the communty. arKI the Church actively seeks to engage with the wKler community in its
acts'vities.
The Leadership Team has met monthty the year and members are regulaty infonned
and consulted regarding church acts.v￿"es at Members MeetirKJS held 4 ts'mes during the year.
ReFy)rts of the a¢tfiiities of the clwrch were provided the Accounts for approval at the
AGM hdd on 28 May.
The charity trust￿ have compl￿5 wtti in s*tm 17(5) of trE Charities Act 2006 to

4. Financial Rvview and Resufts For The Year
1 Financlal Review
During the 12 m(xrtts to 31 D&embef 2023 the Church had a total income of £54,824 (2C122:
£57,729). Income included Grant fundirNJ of £11,200. G5ving to supwxt the wider work of Mission
amounted to £930 (2022 . £1,(YJO).
