Trustees Report for the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir Trust Fund 1[st] July 2024 to 30[th] June 2025
Trust Status and Operation
The Trust is an unincorporated grant making trust established under a Trust Deed.
The day to day operation and maintenance of the Trust Fund is delegated to the membership of the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir, subject to a budget process and overview imposed by the Trustees.
Related party transactions are limited to reimbursement of expenditure directly related to grants and operations specifically identified in the budget and both Trustees and members of the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir are required to volunteer any conflict of interest that may occur. Where such a conflict is identified, then the individual can continue in any discussion of the matter, but will not be allowed to vote on that issue.
Objectives and Activities
The Trust exists to:

Make grants to local charitable and community groups

Provide services to local community groups
-
Make grants to overseas charitable organisations, where such grants will further the principle objectives of the Rotary movement.
By their very nature, these activities are of an ad hoc nature rather than ongoing commitments, and designed to meet short term requirements of the beneficiaries.
Investments
The Trustees have adopted a policy where no reserves are held, all income being disbursed as it is received, subject to a process where applications are received and evaluated.
As such, there are no investments, other than bank accounts, with monies held in interest bearing accounts pending completion on the evaluation process and disbursement.
The accounts submitted have been accepted by the Trustees as a true record of the operation of the Fund and the Trustees are satisfied that amending entries referred to in

We have been requested by the Trustees of the Vale of Belvoir Rotary Club Trust Account to inspect the accounts of the Trust for the period 1* July 2024 to 30" June 2025.
