FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025
The trustees present their annual report and financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2025.
The financial statements have been prepared Tn accordance with the accountrng policles set out in note I to the
financial statements and comply with the charity's governTng document, the CharitTes Act 2011, FRS 102 'The
Financ?al Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republlc of Ireland- and the Charlties SORP "A£counting
and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparlng thelr accounts
in accordance with the FinancTal Reporting Standard applTcable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021-.

Reserves policy
It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a Specific use should be
maintained at a level equlvalent to between three and STX month's expenditure. The trustees consider that
reserves at thTS level will ensure t￿t, in the event of a significant drop in fund?ng, they will be able to contFnue

level of reserves has been maintained throughout the year.

Recruitment ond oppointment of trustees
Trustees are appointed at the dlscretion of current trustees.
None of the tnjstees has any beneflclal interest in the charity. All of the trustees are members of the charity and
guarantee to contribute £1 in the event of a windTng up.

As the trustee5 of the charFty you are responsible for the preparation of the financTal statements in accordance
with the requTrements of the Chariti￿ Act 2011.
I report Tn respect of my examination of the charity's fynancial statements carried out under section 145 of the
Charlties Act 2011. In carwng out my exam7nat70n I have followed the Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145(511b) of the Charities Act 2011.

1.1 Basis of preparati¢)n
The financTal statements have been prepared irs accordance wlth the charity's govemTng document. the
CharTties Act 2011, FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard appllcable In the UK and Republlc of Ireland"
and the Charities SORP "Accounting and Reportlng by Chadties: Statement of Recommended Practlce
applicable to charities preparing their accounts Tn accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" The charity TS a Public Benefit Entity as defined by
FRS 102.
The charity has taken advantage of the prowsions in the SORP for charTtles not to prepare a statunent of
cash flows.
The financ7al statements have deparEd from the Charitie5 (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only to
the èxtent required to provide a true and fair view. This departure ha5 7nvolved following the statement of
Recommended Practice for charities applying FRS 102 rather than the vetsion of the Statement of
Recommended PractTce which ?s referred to in the Regulations but which has slnts been withdrawn.
The finant7al statements are prepared in Sterling, which is the functional currency of the charity. Monetary
arrsounts in these finanual Statements are rounded to the nearest E.
The financTal siatement5 have been prepared under historical cost convention. The prFncipal accourting
poIic7es ad(yted are set out below.
1.2 Golng concern
At the time of approving the financial statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the
charfty has adequate resources to continue Tn operatlonal existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the
trustee5 continue tr) adopt the golng CO¥Tcem basls of accounting in preparing the financial statements.
1.3 Charftable funds
Unrestricted fund5 are ava?lable for use at the discretion of the trustees Tn furtherance of their charitable
objectives.
Restrlrted fund5 are subject to speciflc conditions by donors or grantors as to how thty may be used. The
purposes ènd uses of the restricted funds are set out in the notes to the finanaal statements.
Endowment funds are subject to Specific condftions by donors that the capital must be maintaTned by the
charify.
1.4 Income
Income Is recognised when the charity Is legally entTtled to Tt after any performance condTtions have been
met. the amounts can be measured reliably. and It is probable that Income will be received.
Cash donations are recogni5ed on receipt. Other donat70ns are recogn75ed once the charity has been
notifyed of the donation, unles5 performance condltions require deferral of the amount.
Legacies are recognised on recelpt or otherwTse if the charity has been notif3ed of an iM￿ndIng
distrlbution, the amount is known, and receipt is expected. If the amount Is not known, the legacy is
treated as a contingent asset.

1.5 ExpendTture
Expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or constructive obligatlon to transfer economic bwefit to a
thTrd party, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits WTII be required in settlement, and the
amount of the obligation can be measured rellably.
Expenditure TS classified by actTvIty- The costs of each activity are made up of the total of direct costs 3nd
shared costs, including support costs Involved in undertaking each activity. Direct costs attributable to a
single activity are allocated directly to that activity. Shared costs whlch contribute to more than one
activlEy and support costs whlch are not attributable to a single actiVTty arg apportioned between those
actlVTties on a basis consistent with the use of resources. Cerrtral staff costs are allocated on the basis of
tlme spent, and depreciation charges are allocated on the portion of the asset's use.
1.6 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents include cash in hand, deposits held at call with banks, other short.term ITquid
investments with original maturities of three months or less, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrafts ¥e
shown wthTn borrowngs in current ITabilTties.
Basic frnancial asset
Basic financial assets, which Include debtors and cash and bank balances, are initially measured at
transaction prlce including transactton Costs and are subsequently carried at atnortised cost 1SSTng the
effective interest method unless the arrangement constTtutes a financing transaction, where the
transaction is measured at the present value of the future receipts discounted at a market rate of interest.
Financial assets classTfied as receivable wthin one year are not amortised.
B05ic financial liabilities
Bas7c financial liabilities, including creditors and bank loan5 are initially recogni*d at transaction price
unless the arrangement constitutes a fynancing transact70n, where the debt instrument is measured at the
present value of the future payments discounted at a market rate of interest. FinancTal ITabllltles classified
as payable within one year are not amortised.
Debt Tnstruments are subsequently carried at amortlsed cost. using the effectlve Tnterest rate method.
Trade credltors are obligations to pay for gO(￿S or services that have been acquiied in the Ordin￿ course
Of operations from supplier5. Amounts payable are classffied as current liabT17tie5 if payment Is due within
one year or less. If not, they are presented as nonwcurrent liabilities. Trade creditors are recognised initially
at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised c05t using the effective interest m&thod.
Derecognition of ftnoncial liabilFties
Financial liabTlitie5 are derecognised when the charity's contractual obllgations expire or are discharged or
cancelled.
Crftical accounting estlmates and judgèments
In the application of the charity'5 accountlng policies, the trustees are required to make judgements.
estimates and assumptions about the carrytng amount of a55ets and Ilabilities that are not readily apparent
from other sources. The estimate5 and associated assumptions are based on hTStorical experlence and other
factor5 that are considered to be relevant. Actual results may dTffer from these estimates.
The estTmates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basi5. Revisions to accounting
estimates are recognised Tn the period in which the estimate is revised where the revision affects only that
period, or Tn the perTod of the revi570n and future periods where the revfision affects both current and
future periods.
