The Society is a representative body of professional sculptors committed to making portrait and figurative sculpture accessible to a wider public. Its aim is to advance the art of three-dimensional and bas relief portraiture primarily through its Annual Open Exhibition and by seeking to encourage education and training in the art through lectures, prizes and sculpture classes.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Art Of Portrait And Figurative Sculpture Including Maintaining The Highest Standards And The Promotion And Encouragement Of Such Art.
