Charitable Purpose5
The TrLJS1 furld supports the community of Doncaster across seventeen of th8 Charity
Commission's categories of aclivily, across 811 ages. including support for organisalions
involved with IIE environment, comrriLinity arts. education and training. health and Social
care. 11 also supports the Rotary Foundaliun (which is the main charity of Rotary
Internationall Donations are generally made lo small local groups to support them in their
activitie5 and particularly start-up groups sn exercising due diligence, the Trust prefers lo

make donations lo charities registered with the Charity Commission and If they are not
registered to eiiLourage and support them in doing so.
Main Activities
For the year under review smaller external fund-raising activities were continued after the
CDronavirus pandeini¢ and cash generation was achieved through resurrecting the Santa
Sleigh and the annual classic car show as well as conttnuing sell-generaled action by the
Rotary Club membership.
Achievements and Performancès
The Charity ¢uiilinued ID make clop.31ions to coiiimunity activities. The Iruslees have a well
established and succpssful Community Grants system designed to invite local
organisations to bid ior granls out of funds raised.
The trustees graiiled 21 awards diiring the year. These ranged from £254 through to £750.
The general size of grant being around £645

The funds during the year are generally disbursed by the end of the year or as soon as
possible theioafter. and the Iruslees aim lo retain minimal reserves.
