Under ihe continued badership ol Jo and Con, supported by a dedicated team ol volunteers, we have Seen new peop18 joining and engaging %Mth the life of the church. The Old Chemist, our much-loved building, has rernained al the heart ol community life. After months ol planning we started a major renovation ol the ￿lIdIng frorn July to November 2025. This was made possible allèr receiving a Community Ovm81ship Fund ICOFI grant of £152k, and a South W851ern Railway Customer and Communities Improvement Fund grant ol E19k, combined wlh our ¢wn match funding of £35k. The renovabon induded a new roof th solar panels, creating a larger comrnunily Space complete Iwlh a new kitchen and sound system, and even includes undertkx)r healing for the kids groups tho spend lols ol ts'me on Ihe flo￿. The building wa8 closed lor mmunily usage lor 5 months, bul has since re-launched and now hosts a wder range ol groups and events, providing a sale and inclusive space lor people ol all ages.
