The Trustees of South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists {SEC) present this report
forthe year ended 31" December 2023 togetherwith the consolidated charity accounts, which
have been audited by Moore Kingston Smith LLP.
This Trustees, Report is not onlyto fulfilthe legal and statutory requirements, but it is intended to

University of Essex, Colchester. Some of the reports here bridge between two directors for this
year. There was a change of trustees atthis Session.
Church Growth and Mlssion
A key departmental project was the Global Mission inttiative, which included three projects
across the region aimed at supporting diverse and often under-represented groups, such as
Sutton Connect in Sutton, B-Hope in Buckhurst Hill, and a Chinese Church in ColindaLe. These
initiativeswere designed to help build community networks and provide spiritual and social
supportto local residents. many of whom are outside traditional religious circles. By collaborating
with localvolunteers and international partners, the departmentwas able to make these projects
sustainable 8nd impactrul, benefiting not only church members butthe wider public as well.
The department also supported small congregations and communitygroups throLJgh training 8nd
