The NCS activities focus on recovery and management of psychological problems and life's changes and challenges as presented by individual clients. It provides public benefits to the local communities in Nottinghamshire and East Midlands by supporting individuals and their families with access to safe, caring, affordable professional counselling.
Objects: (a) To Promote Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Population Primarily Within The Counties Of Nottinghamshire And East Midlands And In Particular But Not Exclusively The Furtherance Of Health And The Relief Of Distress And Sickness Associated With Emotional, Personal, Marital, Family Or Related Problems.(b) In Support Of The Above Purposes, To Provide A Confidential Counselling Service,education, Training, And Support For Counselling And To Develop Counselling Resources.
