## **REVIEW OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING ON THE 31st, JULY 2023**

The Memorial Hall has had a successful year, it has been a year of financial growth coming from both regular and private lettings. We currently have 12 independent groups using our premises, some on a weekly or monthly basis. In addition the Bingo group which is run by the hall Trustees has seen remarkable financial growth this year.

The hall has been in popular demand by private individuals wanting Children parties, Baby Showers, anniversaries etc. We have had Race Nights, the Town Council Pride of Houghton Awards and local Elections. The hall has also been used for business training.
