PTA works closely with the school including Chair of PTA is a staff member. Which makes the communication between PTA and staff smooth and successful. 

The charity is a member of Parentkind UK 

The charity holds regular committee meetings, mostly half termly, and as a minimum once a term.  Subcommittees may be formed by the committee to work on specific events / activities & will report back to the committee. 

At the AGM (2022/23) all official positions on committee were filled and an new updated constitution was adopted. 

We would like to thank all the support from school staff and parents who have made it possible to raise so much money to support the children at Kirk Ella St Andrews School.

In furtherance of this object the Association<br>may:<br>-<br>Develop more extended relationships between the staf,<br>parents and other associated with the school.<br>-<br>Engage in activities which support the school and<br>advance the education of pupils attending it.<br>-<br>Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or<br>items for educations at the school (not provided from<br>statutory funds) as the Committee in consultation with<br>the Headteacher or their representative from the<br>governing body shall time to determine.|

This group raises money for the school by<br>running an<br>extremely active and varied programme of events throughout<br>the school<br>year.<br>The Kirk Ella Parent Teacher Association holds regular<br>committee meeting where staf, parents and others associated<br>with the<br>School are always welcome to participate.|

The Kirk Ella Parent Teacher Association had a busy year providing more enjoyable events for the children and raising much needed funds for the school. 

A lot of funds have been spent on replacing reading books across the school.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31 / 08 / 2022** 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the **basis of report** preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material **examiner's** matters have come to my attention (other than that disclosed **statement** below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:  accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or  the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
