Activities

To promote the efficiency of the Army by; promoting the interests, welfare and camaraderie of all those who have served, protecting and enhancing the Corps heritage and traditions; maintaining contact with former and serving members of the Corps, fostering their mutual friendship, esprit de corps, camarderie and welfare; where possible, helping to relieve hardship and distress; and, adminstering,

Objects: A) (1) Promoting The Efficiency Interests Welfare And Camaraderie Of All Those Officers And Soldiers Who Have Served In The Former Rasc And The Former Rct Including Those Serving In The Royal Logistic Corps And In Association With The Royal Logistic Corps To Protect And Enhance The Heritage And Traditions Of The Former Rasc And The Former Rct And Their Predecessors In Such Ways As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit. (2) Maintaining Contact Between Officers And Soldiers Who Served With The Former The Royal Corps Of Transport And Who Are Now Serving With The Royal Logistic Corps And Former Officers And Soldiers Who Served With The Former The Royal Corps And Former Officers And Soldiers Of The Former Corps Fostering Mutual Friendship Between Them And Providing For Social Gatherings For Them; And Fostering Their Esprit De Corps Camaraderie And Welfare And Preserving The Traditions Of The Former Corps. (B) To Relieve Either Generally Or Individually Former Officers And Soldiers Who Served With The Former The Royal Corps Of Transport And Who Subsequently Served With The Royal Logistic Corps And Former Officers And Soldiers Who Served With The Former Corps And Their Dependants Who Are In Conditions Of Need Hardship Or Distress In Such Ways As The Trustees From Time To Time Think Fit. (C) To Administer Mange Secure And Sustain As An Entity The Medal Collection Of The Former Corps And To Provide For The Exhibition Of The Same Tothe Public Members Of The Royal Logistic Corps And Former Members Of The Former Corps For The Purpose Of Educating Them In The Traditions Of The Former Corps And The Perpetuation Of Their Deeds Subject To Rules Of Administration Established By The Trustees And Which From Time To Time They May Review.
