Section B Structure, overnance and mana ement Description of the charity's trusts The charity's goveming documents are those of the Scout Association. The Scout Association's governing document is a royal charter which gives authority to the Bye-laws of the Association and the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Assoctation. The group is a trust established under these rules which are common to all Scout groups. The scout group is split into three sections; Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts. The following is a condensed version of each section's report prepared for the AGM. Beavers Report 2025 The Beavers have had a very busy and successful year, with numbers staying high. Throughout the year, Beavers enjoyed a wide range of activities across all three terms. These included outdoor skills such as hiking, den building, cooking on fire pits, navigation. geocaching, and pioneering projects, as well as visits to places like the Story Museum in Oxford, Windsor Great Park, St Nicholas Church, and adventure centres. They also took part in sleepovers and camps, with highlights including a spring sleepover at HQ and a summer camp at Paccar. Safety. teamwork, and learning new skills were key themes, with activities covering first aid, water safety, road safety, communication, and environmental awareness. The year will finish with a South African- themed BBQ and annual awards. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objacts (Include within this secfjon the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance Issued by the Charity Commission on publlc benefit) Cub Report 2025 Across the terms, activities included science experiments, astronomy, digital media. craft work, wildlife learning, map and compass skills, photography, and visits from and to external organisations such as Search and Rescue, the Natural History Museum, a fire station, and local sports clubs. Cubs also enjoyed outdoor challenges, teamwork activities, hikes, and creative projects like candle making. The highlight of the year was a pirate-themed camp at Paccar in May, where 16 Cubs look part in adventurous activities and challenge award elements. Other memorable events included archery, crate stacking, rugby, and planned end-of-year activities such as a hike through Burnham Beeches and a Cubs vs Parents cricket match. Several badges were completed, including Scientist, Artist, Photography. Astronomer, Emergency Aid. Fire Safety. and Hikes Away. The section also welcomed new adult leaders, helping strengthen the team. Scout Report 2025 Scouts earned many challenge and activity badges through weekly meelings, camps, and events away from the hut. A major highlight was a summer camp on the Isle of Wight, where Scouts enjoyed activities such as sailing, hiking, beach days, pioneering, archery, shooting, theme parks, and visits to local attractions. Additional camps and ovemight activities took place at several sites, focusing on patrol teamwork, outdoor living skills, and self-reliance. The weekly programme included a wide variety of activities such as cooking, kayaking, abseiling. hiking, pioneering projects, environmental work. crafts. first aid, and core scouting skills. The troop also took part in community events, including the Remembrance Day parade in Taplow. TAR March 2012

Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Beavers The Beavers have had a very busy and successful year, with numbers staying high. In total. 8 Beavers achieved their Bronze Award and over 350 badges were earned. The leader team's dedication has been vital, and new volunteers are always welcome as planning is already undemay for another exciting year ahead. Cub The Cubs have had a busy and successful year with a wide range of activrties and strong participation. The pack welcomed 11 new members (mostty from Beavers) and saw 9 Cubs move on to Scouts. Cubs developed many life skills and earned numerous badges throughout the year. Scout The Scout Troop has had a very active year, with around 30 Scouts taking part in a wide range of fun, challenging. and skill-building activrties. The troop has been well supported by young leaders and adult volunteers, including several new leaders who joined the team this year. Through these activities, the Trustees are confident that the Group meets the Charity Commission's public benefit criteria under both the advancement of education and the advancement of citizenship or communty development headings TAR March 2012
