Wickham Common Primary School PTA
Treasurers Report 2024-2025
Financial year 2024-2025 has been an incredibly successful year of fundraising for Wickham Common PTA.
We have had a fantastic year running lots of events such as wreath making, night market, comedy night, sponsored bounce, discos and our first ever WICKSTOCK which was absolutely amazing. The combination of all these events and hours of work from the PTA team has equated to a record breaking amount of money raised for use on school projects. This year’s profit from events and very generous donations is just over £35,000 and only made possible through continued dedication and hard work of the PTA and through the support of all our school community and the local community as a whole.
The fundraising achieved by the PTA has allowed us to fund many great things for the children including workshops, class enrichments, sports mats, picnic Benches, SEN equipment and much more.
We have also benefited greatly this year from our kind Benevity donations which have amounted to approximately £10,000. This is a fantastic scheme and we need to try and encourage parents to investigate if their companies offer it.
With the addition of new ideas and lots of helping hands we are in a strong position heading into the new financial year with over £67,000 in our bank accounts to help fund future projects to benefit our children.
Well done to all involved in another fabulous year for Wickham Common PTA.
