## **Wickham Common Primary School PTA** 

## **Treasurers Report 2022 -2023** 

Financial year 2022-2023 has been a very successful year of fundraising for Wickham Common PTA. 

We have had a fantastic year running lots of events such as the fairs, sponsored bounce, discos and many more allowing us to raise an incredible amount of money for use on school projects. This year’s profit from events figure is approximately £25,000 which is incredible and only made possible through continued dedication and hard work of the PTA and through the support of all our school community and the local community as a whole. 

With the addition of new ideas and lots of helping hands we are in a strong position heading into the new financial year.

As you will see our donations to school figure for the year is high, this is due to the Library costs and the summer claim invoice for financial year 2021/2022 being submitted and paid in this financial year. 

We have a very healthy amount of cash in the bank at year end putting us in a strong position starting this year to help fund future projects to benefit our children. 

The current economic climate continues to have an effect on our community so we will need to be mindful of this as we plan events over the course of the year. 

That said I am sure we can still look forward to another successful year. 

The first event of 2023-2024 year has already taken place, the car boot sale raised a fantastic profit of £900 which gets us off to a flying start for fundraising this year.

accounts of the Wickham Common Primary School
PTA (1044371) fot the year ended 31" August 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of teport. As the cbatity
trustees of the you ate tesponsible fot the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
tequirements of the Charities Act 2011 (￿e Ace).
I teport in respect of my examination of the PTA'S
accounts carried out undet section 145 of the 2011 Act
and in carrying out my examination I have followed all
the applicable Ditections given by the Chatity
Commission undet section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
