TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND PERFORMING CHORAL WORKS IN A WIDE VARIETY OF STYLES.2. TO PROMOTE THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE SWANSEA AREA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY:(A) PROVIDING A SCHOLARSHIP VIA WAIVED MEMBERSHIP FEES AS WELL AS FREE PROVISION OF MUSIC AND UNIFORMS(B) DEVELOPING THEIR MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND CONFIDENCE(C) PROVIDING THEM WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE WITH PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS.3. TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT, BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.
