We have had a busy twelve months, and our new member of sthff Samantha Marshall has settled in
well and has become a valued member of staff.
The start of the 2021 Autumn terni Saw us with thirtecn children registered with four more on the
waiting list for January. The children are happy and enjoy their time at Pre-school enjoying a wide
range of activities and experiences.
Fundraising for ihe Pre-school this year has not gone ahead again as support for events has been
low. We hope to re￿art this nexl year
The committ¢¢ all Work effectively in their roles and the managers a￿ doing a fantastic job along
with other staff to see that the Pre-school runs smoothly. We hop¢ that the next twelvc monih5 will
be successful.
My thanks go to our managet3, staff and committee for all their hard work and effort over this past
year.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts for the year ended 31st August 2022.
Respertfve responsibiliiles of trustee5 and exarniner
The charity's trustee5 are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charlty's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe
Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It Is my responsibility to..
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act
to follow procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission under
section 145151 Ibl of the Charities Act. and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity
Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting recoids kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those record5. li also includes consideration of any unusual
item5 01 disclosures in the account5, 5eekin8 explanations from the trustees concerning any such
matters. The proceduTe5 undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit
and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair, view and the
report is limited to those matter5 set out in the statement below.
