17 June 2015 and is a registered charity No.1044157. Ils address is The Forest School. Park

The object of the School Fund is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing
or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation
of such facilities financed by Wellspring Academy Trust.
Grants received during the year include-
£10,000 from Bernard Sunley Foundation - MUGA phase 3
£5000 from Bailey Thomas Charitable Fund - MUGA phase 3
£5000 from York Children's Trust- MUGA Phase 3
£5000 from Tesco - Woodland Adventure Shelter and Poly Tunnel
£2000 from Miller Hornes- Woodland Adventure Shelter and Poly Tunnel
£IOOO from Barbara Shuttleworth Memorial Trust- Woodland AdvÈnture Shelter and Poly Tunnel
£200 from HMCA PLC - All Terrain Wheelchair
£IOOO from Knaresborough Lions - All Terrain Wheelchair
£520 from Henry Smith Charity - Yr 6 Actlvlty Week
£48.75 from the Great British School Trip - Year 6 Activity Week
We continue to receive regular credits from the sale of Local Lottery lickeis, Bank interest, 'Give
as You Live, and 'Bags 2 Schools, lermly textile collections. A Gift Aid claim has also been
submitted and an amouni of £635.92 received. Various sponsored events andschool organised
fundraising events have also allowed to raise funds.
As pan of Wellspring Academy Trust, our central finance department deals Mrilh the ordering of
goods and payment of invoices. We therefore Iransfer funds from the School Fund account to
Wellspring Academy Trust to cover the invoices paid centrally when payment is due.
