Objects: (A) To Advance According To The Highest Professional Standards The Development Of Children Under Compulsory School Age By Providing A Stimulating And Safe Environment In Which Children May Develop Socially Intellectually Physically And Emotionally Through Play Thus Laying A Suitable Foundation For Eventual Entry Into School. (B) To Ensure That These Opportunities Are Offered To All Children Regardless Of Their Race Culture Religion Sex Or Means. (C) To Involve Parents As Much As Possible So That They May Understand The Importance Of The Pre-School Years, Appreciate The Great Value Of Their Supportive Role With The Senior Playgroup Co-Ordinator Both At Present And In The Future And Realise The Need For Constant Interaction Between Playgroup And Home; Also To Dispose Both Children And Parents Towards The Prevailing Ethos Of The School As A Whole
