Activities
Youth Works involves young people living in disadvantaged housing areas in shaping their physical and social environment, while also addressing issues of crime and criminality. In each location a local steering committee is established; involving the police, housing, education, other relevant agencies and local residents. Groundwork Trusts are responsible for day-to-day management of projects.
Objects: To Promote The Conservation Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Anywhere In The United Kingdom And Secondly To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisuretime Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For Those Living In Or Working In Or Restoring To The United Kingdom And Thirdly To Advance Public Education In Environmental Matters And Of The Ways Of Better Conserving Protecting And Improving The Same Wheresoever
