**Activities:** To improve the care of young patients at the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London through the provision of medical equipment and other facilities that are not available through the NHS; and to promote research, teaching and training of and into paediatric care.  St Mary's PICU treats critically ill children from London and the south east of England.
