**Objects:** 1) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE.  2) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, NATURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT.  3) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST.

**Activities:** Primary aim is to care for the beauty, history and character of Tiverton Town and its environs. Motto - Watch & Ward.  Organise range of lectures, information plaques, heritage walks and social activities.  Keep in close touch with the Town, Mid Devon District and Devon County Councils.   Registered with Civic Trust and Outer SW Federation of Civic Societies and member of Devon Conservation Forum.
