The NPST Charity provides support to patients in hospitals and out patients in a wide range of service needs through a network of social service workers and other hospital professionals, and the trust provides respite breaks and funding for children and their familes suffering long term or termanil illness. The charity also provides support and funding aid to oher small charities
Objects: 1) The Relief And Assistance Of Patients And Former Patients Of NHS Hospital Trusts Suffering From Disease And From Other Physical And/or Mental Disability Or Disabilities Or Convalescent Therefrom Or Otherwise Infirm And In Need Of Financial Assistance. 2) The Relief In Cases Of Financial Distress Of The Dependants Of Such Persons Or Deceased Persons. In Furtherance Of Objects 1 And 2 To Have Particular Regard For The Needs Of Children (But Not Exclusively) And Young Persons Will Be Paid To Cases Involving Children. 3) Generally To Support The Charitable Work Of Any NHS Hospital Trust
