IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE THE CHARITY MAY PRESERVE, CONSTRUCT, DEVELOP, RESTORE, MAINTAIN AN OPERATE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE TURNTABLE, WATER TOWER AND OTHER STRUCTURES AND FACILITIES AT YEOVIL AND FACILITIES FOR THE OPERATION OF STEAM LOCOMOTIVES AT YEOVIL AND ELSEWHERE

**Activities:** Maintain and operate a Railway Centre at Yeovil Junction including facilities to assist with running main line steam trains. Public open days using resident steam engine arranged and designed to educate. Visitor Centre developed in an 1864 built Transfer Shed. Activities continue to improve and extend our work.
