LOSTOCK TINY TOTS PRESCHOOL CHARITY COMMISSION REPORT 2025- 2026 It has been another challenging year for the preschool with the number of children attending not increasing. which again has had an impad on our income. The decision was made to accept children from 18 months of age from April 2026. Staffing Because of the low number of chIldn attending the preschool and the impact this has had on our income. we unfortunately had to make 3 staff members. Samantha, Ceri and Gemma. redundant at the end of the 2025 summer tem. Gemma has rejoined us on a part-time basis from Eastsi until the end of the 2026 summer term. Play and Stay Play and Stay was introduced last year with young childTen not yet old enough to attend being able to come along with their parentslguardians to join in with the activities and meet the staff. Due to our change of age of admittance being reduced some of the children are now attendirrfJ and using their funded hours. Activities The children who were leaving us in Juty On again had an outing to Knowsley Safari Park. this was enjoyed by all the chiklren and staff. We have continued with our PE sesstons provided by Development First Coaching. they also helped with our Sports Day which is always enjoyed by chiSdren and their parents. Fund Raising We have continued to nd raise through the Your Sth(M)l Lottery. and are gratefvl for all the support of family and friends wbo participate. We held our annual Christmas Raflle with the prizes On again being donated by local businesses and parents and raised £390. The staff have held various fundraising events throughout the year. Looking Forward The Committee. along with the staff. took the decision to become a CIO and the neSary steps were put in pla. This is progressing and should be in place hopefully by the start of the Auiumn 2026 tenn. All current Committee members will leave when the new CIO is in pla. The Commrttee would like to thank Lucy and all the staff for their hard work and dedication.
