LOSTOCK TINY TOTS PRESCHOOL
CHARITY COMMISSION REPORT 2024 — 2025
It has been a challenging few years for the preschool, we made the decision to carry on and it hasn’t been an easy year with a drop in the number of children attending, which impacts on our income. Hopefully numbers will increase in the coming months.
Staffing
We have had one member of staff leave during the year, Morgan left in November 2024. We did not recruit any further staff and Taya increased her hours and is now working 3 days a week.
Activities
The children who were leaving us in July once again had an outing to Knowsley Safari Park, this was enjoyed by both children and staff.
We have continued with our PE lessons provided by Development First Coaching, this is enjoyed by all the children. D F Coaching also help with our Sports Day which parents are encouraged to attend.
Play and Stay
Play and stay was introduced this year. We have invited young children, not yet old enough to attend preschool, to come along with their parents/guardians to join in the activities and meet the staff. This has been well attended and hopefully will result in the children joining us when they are old enough.
Fund Raising
The staff have held various fund-raising events throughout the year with raffles and a cake sale.
The Christmas Raffle was once again very popular. The prizes were donated by local businesses and parents which resulted in us raising £446.
We continue to fund raise through participation in Your School Lottery.
Looking Forward
We look forward with renewed hope that the preschool will continue to prosper. Our thanks, as a committee, go out to the dedicated Manager and staff and also to the parents who support us.
