## Activities

**Objects:** 3. The objects of the Company are to promote the benefit of the community in Derbyshire (“the Area”), in particular, but not limited to, the City of Derby and the areas of Rose Hill, Pear Tree and New Normanton in such manner as may be charitable and in particular but not so as to limit the generality of the foregoing: 3.1 To provide or assist in the provision of facilities and services for children and adults with special needs whether physical or mental with the object of improving their conditions of life and that of their families and carers.3.2 To provide or assist in the provision of advice services to those who suffer disadvantage especially by virtue of language, ethnicity or background. 3.3 To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.3.4 To promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the community in the Area.3.5 To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare for the inhabitants of the Area with the object of improving their conditions of life, in furtherance of the above but not otherwise.

**Activities:** Provide educational/leisure activities for disadvantage children and young people. Provide facilities and resources to the charitable sector. Undertake project activity which benefits local residents and groups.

**Area of benefit:** ROSE HILL DISTRICT OF DERBY AND ITS ENVIRONS.
