Croydon Contacts is a small charity supporting adults with learning disabilities in Croydon to enjoy social activities in their local community. We run various events for members, staffed by volunteers & trustees, supported by carers & families. Events include Board Games; Bowling, Cinema & Lunch clubs; Summer day trips to local museums & parks; visiting local pantomimes & shows.
Objects: To Assist People With Learning Disabilities And/or Special Needs Aged 18 And Over Living In Or With A Close Association With The London Borough Of Croydon And Their Informal Carers By For Example Arranging Various Regular And Occasional Leisure And Social Activities With The Aims Of • Enabling Members To Achieve Their Full Potential As Members Of The Community.• Promoting Their Wellbeing • Supporting Their Carers And • Combatting Loneliness And Isolation.
